How to fix a seatbelt that won't retract

A few strokes of the wet&dry and my seat belt now retracts! The wet&dry takes enough material off the guide to allow the belt to slip through more easily. One warning - you don't need to remove a lot of material! Just a few strokes was enough for me. If you remove too much the seatbelt will slip through the guide too easily and you'll feel that ....

It seems like the same problem as the old thread. When My solution to this was to heat the black plastic guide up with a heat gun and bent it up and held it (with a rag) until the plastic was cool enough to hold its shape. FYI: The torx to remove the retractor is a T50 and the torx to remove the guide portion at the top of the seat is a T27.I may try that but the issue does not seem to be a belt that is sticking/binding upon retraction but more of a lack of tension on the belt. I can easily enough feed the belt into the take-up spool without a problem. My investigation of belt did not reveal a way to adjust tension of the spool.…
